My fun Rotary journey!

  • I was born into a Rotary family and enjoyed my first Rotary International Convention before I was 1 year old.

  • I was a founding member of the Interact club at Windsor High School in Connecticut in 2005. I was Vice President in 2008-2009.

  • I started my first semester at Ithaca College in 2009, saw there was no Rotaract Club and started working on chartering a club. We chartered and started our first semester in January 2010. I was President until I graduated.

  • I attended the Rotaract Pre-convention and Rotary International Convention in São Paulo, Brazil in June 2015. This was a life changing experience!

  • I joined the new San Fernando Valley Rotaract Club in August 2015. As a founding member I was the Social Media Chair. A few months into the year the Secretary was unable to do the position and I stepped up to the role. The next year I was President of the club and I am proud to say membership doubled and we did a few more service projects prior to the club’s first year.

  • In 2016, I attended the Rotary International Peace Conference in Ontario, CA and the District 5280 Conference in San Diego, CA. Regarding leadership training, I attended the Big West Rotaract Institute, Conference and President's Retreat (the first and only time they offered this).

  • In June 2016, I was selected to be on the District 5280 Rotaract Board as a Photographer/Editor. In June 2017, I applied and was selected to be the Executive-Aide to the District Rotaract Representative.

  • In May 2017, I attended the District 5280 Conference in Lake Arrowhead and spoke about our Rotaract accomplishments, challenging Rotarians to get more involved with youth programs.

  • In June 2017, I attended the Rotaract Pre-Convention and Rotary International Convention in Atlanta, GA. My whole family came too! Bonus.

  • In May 2018 I attended the District 5280 Conference in Indian Wells, CA and spoke about our Rotaractors achievements.

  • In June 2018, I attended the Rotaract Pre-Convention and Rotary International Convention in Toronto, Canada. I attended a wonderful seminar to prepare me for my position as District Rotaract Representative.

  • In July 2018, I became the District Rotaract Representative for District 5280. I was selected to attend the Rotary International Assembly in January, 2019 in San Diego and was a part of the first group of Rotaractors invited to attend.

  • In January 2019 I was also selected to be a Walker in the Rose Parade. With this honor, I was able to walk next to the Rotary Rose Parade Float, waving to the crowd, representing Rotary International, while singing and dancing to “Crocodile Rock” (hint: our theme was “Service Rocks”)

  • In February 2020, I was inducted into Boston Rotaract.

  • In May 2020, I joined the District Membership Committee and Public Image Committee for District 7930. I create social media posts and email content.

  • In 2021, I became the Rotaract Chair for District 7930 for a two-year term.
